The Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services (TSFRS) is originally comprised of the West Wyomissing, Lincoln Park, Vinemont, & West Lawn Fire Companies, the legacy companies. The TSFRS is a combination volunteer and career department consisting of a career Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, Fire Marshal and 12 Career Firefighters.

The career staff provides 24-hour coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The career staff is divided into 4 platoons with a Captain, Technician and Firefighter assigned to each platoon.  Each platoon works 24 hours on and 72 hours off. 

Membership in the Township of Spring Fire Rescue Services has no distinction as the race, color, age, creed, religion, sex, national origin, or economic status.
