On May 28, 2024 at Township meeting two promotions were made official within the TSFR.

The first was Technician Matt Risell was promoted to the rank of Captain. Matt has been with the TSFR for 9 years and has been the Driver/Technician on D Platoon as his most recent assignment. Matt will be assigned as the Captain on A Platoon and will start that assignment on Monday May 3, 2024.

The next promotion is a new career position within the TSFR. Captain Jonathan Fritz has been promoted to the rank of Deputy Fire Chief. Deputy Fritz will be our first career full time Deputy Chief within the TSFR. Fritz has been with the TSFR for 5 years and was most recently the Captain on A platoon. Deputy Fritz will begin his new position on Tuesday June 4, 2024
