On Tuesday night June 4, 14 TSFR personnel, joined by a like number of members of the Berks DES Special Ops Group and supported by about a dozen volunteer "victims" conducted a drill involving the Count's Decontamination Tent. TSFR has committed to being a support group for DES SOG by storing, transporting, erecting and operating a mass decontamination tent used to rapidly remove contamination from foreign substances from large numbers of people. This includes both ambulator and non-ambulator victims.

The scenario for the drill was a terrorist attack which caused a harmful chemical to be sprayed onto a crowd attending a community event. Victims were triaged and sent thru a walk-in shower tunnel or placed on backboards to be moved thru a decon tunnel where they were sprayed by attendants inside.

The exercise started with a meeting of all TSFR and SOG members to review the scenario while the "victims" were gathered in our meeting room for their briefing. After the conclusion of the event, all participants gathered back the meeting room to "hot wash" the experience.
