Late in the afternoon of Thursday September 26, TSFR was dispatched to the area of Century Blvd and Paper Mill Rd for reported motor vehicle crash, possibly with fire and entrapment. Responding with TSFR Rescue 85 was Wyomissing FD Engine 79 and Western Berks FD Engine 18-2 along with Western Berks EMS Squad 650 and Medic 6504.

E79 arrived on location first, reported no entrapment or fire, pulled a protection hose line and initiated operations. EMS tended to one patient and requested a second medic for an additional patient. R85 arrived, powered down both involved vehicles and tended to the fluids spill. E79 was then released to cover another call while R85 and E18-2 remained to handle debris management and assist TSFR Fire Police with traffic.
