On Saturday October 26, TSFR held its annual Open House at our station. TSFR personnel met with over 200 community members and families to demonstrate the functions of the fire department and provide fire and safety educational opportunities. We were joined by partner agencies from Spring Township PD, Parks and Recreation and Public Works, Western Berks EMS, West Side Emergency Management and Berks Search and Rescue, all of whom provided educational displays and interaction with the public.

In addition, attendees were encouraged to provide nonperishable food items that were provided to Helping Harvest to support feeding the food challenged members of our community.
