On Thursday, January 9, TSFR personnel, along with members of Western Berks FD, Kenhorst Fire Co and West Reading Fire Co. attended the 2025 Wilson Middle School Career Day held at Alvernia College. Students from both Wilson Middle Schools attended and had the opportunity to visit booths operated by 25 vendors, agencies and businesses. Agencies included PA State Police, Berks Co. Sheriff's Dept, Western Berks EMS and Berks Parole and Probation.

Booth personnel discussed career and volunteer fire rescue opportunities plus higher educational opportunities in Fire Science and Fire Protection Engineering. Personal contact was made with approximately 25 students. This marks the 4th year in a row that TSFR has participated in this event.
