On Sunday afternoon August 6, TSFR Engine and Tanker 85, along with Wyo FD Engine 79, Western Berks Fire Ladder 18, Reading Ladder 1 and Engine 3, Greenfields Engine 55, West Reading Engine 64, Mohnton 57 RIT and Western Berks EMS responded to Fieldstone Drive in northern Spring Township for a reported structure fire. Capt. 18-1 arrived first and reported a working fire with smoke showing.

E85 laid a 5" supply line to Side A and advanced a 2" attack hose line to the BC corner where fire was showing up the exterior wall.
They were followed by E79 who assisted in stretching an additional line to the interior where they were joined by L18 and E3 personnel in checking extension. L1 was directed to open the roof over the B side while other companies threw ground ladders and assisted with overhaul. Deputy 85 had command, Capt 85 had the B Division and RFD Car 3 had the Interior.

FM 43 was summoned to perform the investigation.
