Rescue 85 was dispatched to the area of Van Reed and Spring Ridge Drive for a reported MVA with entrapment and fire. Chief 85 arrived on location and confirmed a vehicle laying on the drivers side with the driver still inside. Rescue 85 along with the crew from Ladder 79 stabilized the car and performed a roof flap using the HURST extrication equipment. Once access was made to the patient, crews assisted with removing the patient until Western Berks Ambulance Association took over patient care.
