On Thursday night December 12, TSFR Rescue 85 was dispatched to the intersection of West Wyomissing Blvd and Cleveland Avenue in Spring Twp, along with Wyomissing FD Ladder 79, and Western Berks EMS Medics 6512 and 6521 for a reported MVA with entrapment. The incident was upgraded to a Level 2 for a report of one vehicle on its side.

R85 arrived and confirmed two vehicles with a pickup on its side. R85s crew made contact with the passengers and confirmed injuries to one occupant while the other denied any injuries. Ladder 79 arrived on location and was directed to assist with stabilization and extrication. Crews stabilized the vehicle using struts and a tie back to an electric winch attached to R85. They then partially removed and displaced the roof to permit access and extrication of the patient. Once this was complete patient care was transferred to EMS. Members then assisted EMS with moving the patient from the car onto the stretcher and into the back of the Medic unit.
