An early afternoon structure fire in the 4100 block Penn Ave in Sinking Spring Boro on Monday February 6 saw TSFR Engine 85 and Deputy 85 responding to assist the Western Berks FD. FC 18 arrived at the location, reported smoke showing, and declared a working fire.

Upon their arrival, E85s crew was assigned to assist WBFD E18-2s crew in attacking the fire. The fire was reported to be in the knee walls of the 2nd and 3rd floors. E85 personnel assisted with fire attack and overhaul operations while DC85 was assigned to supervise operations on the 2nd floor. Personnel operated until released by Command.
