A reported vehicle fire on Fritztown Rd near Baker Rd in southern Spring Twp resulted in TSFRS Engine 85 and Tanker 85, plus Wyomissing Engine 79 and Adamstown Engine 11-1 being dispatched on Wednesday night June 25. Multiple calls received reported a working fire.

E85 arrived to find a fully involved vehicle as reported. The crew stretched their 1 3/4" bumper mounted hose line to initiate fire attack. E79 arrived and supplied E85 with additional water from their tank. Crew utilized eDraulic spreaders to force open the hood and trunk of the vehicle to complete extinguishment and check for fire extension. The fire was placed under control shortly thereafter and LN E11-1 was recalled. T85 continued in normal flow of traffic to ensure adequate water.

Personnel overhauled and wet down the vehicle. When the tow company removed the vehicle all remaining units were made available and returned to station.
