| On Monday afternoon July 6, TSFRS and Western Berks EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Penn Avenue and Riegle Ave in the West Lawn section of Spring Township for vehicle crash with unknown injuries. As the units were enroute Berks County Communications reported 2 vehicles involved, with one possible injury.
Upon arrival, Engine 85 provide immediate scene traffic blockage on the west bound land of Penn Ave. and requested that the westbound lane be completely blocked at Woodside Ave.
WBEMS arrived and provided patient care and transport while the E85 crew secured power to one vehicle and covered fluids with oil dry. E85 and Fire Police remained on location for blocking until the vehicles were removed after which the company was placed available and returned |
