| Just after sunup on Friday morning July 10, TSFRS Engine 85 and Fire Police responded to Rte. 422 eastbound just prior to the North Wyomissing blvd. exit in Wyomissing Boro on a mutual aid response for a reported tractor trailer fire. PA State Police were on location reporting a brake fire on a semi-trailer.
Engine 85 arrived on location and originally set up for blocking behind first due Ladder 79 while the personnel investigated a small fire on the rear of the trailer. L79 used their forestry line to cool down the brakes prior to having E85 relocate in front of L79 and use their booster hose. E85 and L79 were then placed available.
Fire Police remained on location until the truck was removed from the exit lane. |
