Unis from TSFR and Wyo FD had to shorten their participation in the annual Wyomissing 4th of July Parade to take in a possible structure fire on Cleveland Ave in the West Wyomissing section of Spring Township. TSFR Engine 85, Rescue Engine 85 and Deputy 85 along with Wyo FD Ladder 79 responded from the parade route immediately. We were joined by Western Berks FD Ladder 18, Shillington Engine 36, Mohnton Engine 57, West Reading Engine 64, Muhlenburg Twp RIT and Western Berks EMS.

Upon arrival crews found a fire involving cooking equipment and deck furnishings, with extension to the deck and canopy. Neighbors ahd knocked the fire down with a portable extinguisher, and units overhaulded the area and stretched a 1 3/4" bumper line to complete extinguishment.
